Music Sync

Bank Robber Music

As a Music Sync & Digital Marketing Intern for just under one year, I learned the foundation of all things music sync. Under an inspiring mentor, John Newcomer, I was able to fearlessly ask any questions, thus learning at a rapid speed, which built my toolkit in copyright and sync. As well as gaining their trust to bring in my own expertise with digital marketing.

Assisted in writing BRMs' newsletter and press releases.

Created monthly Spotify playlists to promote new single or album releases.

Produced promotional Instagram reels, on brand to BRMs' aesthetic, in collaboration with record labels and artists.

Case Study Music Vs Dialogue In Film

Acting as an universal language, you don’t need to understand to feel, music often drives narrative emotion further than words. In this study I conducted, participants revisited favorite films where they felt equally connected to both the dialogue and musical scenes. Across all participants, the musical scenes consistently triggered stronger emotional responses.

Senior Thesis

A semester long project I created when researching the importance of customization and music within tv and film. Leading me to this create a pitch to merge users music taste on Spotify with Netflixs’ films and shows to create a brand new experience, where users’ will be recommended titles based on their music taste, rather than based on standard genres like romcom and action.
